A little about us.

My personal backround was in electronics as an engineer, I spent the first 20 years of my working life within the electronics industry.

Electronics in Ireland took a major downturn so I decided to convert my hobby, which was wood working, building boats and similar projects into a business. The boat building never evolved into a business, but the woodworking did!

Cherry Lane Art Services was established in 1995 and since then has designed and manufactured bespoke high-end frames for some of Ireland’s most established and respected visual artists, to date we still enjoy this position.

We pride ourselves on being different, making our own designs and frame profiles.

Hand finishing is a specialty. We have a special emphasis on conservation framing, We operate within the guidelines of the fine art trade guild, offering all levels of framing, from budget quality to museum quality and we take pride in giving our most honest recommendations to all our clients.

In 2001 we extended our business to include 2 new sectors, one which took us to the forefront of the music and entertainment award industry with our Gold & Platinum award presentations. Although these have been around for a while, they were never made in Ireland. This gave us the challenge and opportunity to make our own mark on the industry. Instead of copying the norm, we set about making our own designs of awards, which have now become the trademark of ‘Cherry Lane Art Services’ and the industry standard.
